  • Salt&Pepper – to taste.

  1. Prepare the chicken legs: Pat dry the chicken legs using clean kitchen towels. 
  2. Prepare the chicken seasoning: Combine all the seasonings in a small bowl.
  3. Season the chicken legs: Add the chicken legs to a large bowl, pour the melted butter or oil and sprinkle with the seasonings. Mix them well until each chicken leg is well covered.
  4. Bake: Place the chicken on an oven-safe rack fitted over a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven until the internal temperature reaches 165F for 35-45 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and let the chicken legs rest for about 5 minutes before serving with your favorite side dish.

  • 8 chicken drumsticks about 2 lbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F/220°C and line a baking sheet with foil. Place an oven safe rack on top.
  • In a small bowl, combine all the seasonings.
  • Pat dry chicken legs with paper towels. This helps them get crispy. Brush the chicken drumsticks with melted butter or oil.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mix and use your hands to distribute on both sides evenly.
  • Place the chicken legs on the prepared rack and bake for 35-45 minutes or until the skin looks crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165F/74C.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and rest for 5 minutes.
