CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP

Step-by-step instructions to make this cream of mushroom soup.

INSTRUCTIONS

1&2. – In a large pot heat the butter, and oil, and sauté the onion and garlic.

3&4.– Add the sliced mushrooms, 2 teaspoons thyme, the wine.

5&6.– Pour the broth and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes, and stir in the heavy cream.  

INSTRUCTIONS

7&8.Puree the soup using a stick blender, and mix in fresh parsley and thyme.
