In a large pan over medium-high heat fry the chopped bacon for about 2-3 minutes, until crispy. Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb some of the bacon fat.
Remove most of the bacon fat and melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
Transfer the broccoli into the pan. Season with salt and pepper and sauté constantly stirring for 2-3 minutes until the broccoli starts to change its color.
Add the garlic in the pan with broccoli and sautee for about 30 seconds.
Add in the heavy whipping cream and simmer for 4-5 minutes or until the sauce starts to thickens.
