Cook the Srimps - In a medium pan over medium heat, pour olive oil. Add the shrimps and season with salt and pepper. Sear the shrimps for 1-2 minutes on each side or until pink. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
In the same skillet, add butter. Once the butter has melted, cook the minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Reduce the heat and pour in the wine or broth and rasp any brown pieces. Stir to combine. Bring to a simmer.
Pour the cream and stir to mix. Season with salt and pepper to taste and simmer for a few minutes.
Add the parmesan cheese, and allow to simmer until the cheese is incorporated and the sauce thickens.
