Made using only 5 easy ingredients, these garlic butter chicken thighs are super crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and loaded with butter and garlic flavor.
Pat chicken thighs dry with a paper towel and season them with salt and black pepper.
Add the olive oil to a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Arrange the chicken thighs skin-side down and cook them for 4 minutes on each side until the skin is golden and crispy.
Remove any extra fat using a spoon.
Then add the butter and minced garlic to the same skillet. Cook everything for 1 more minute until the garlic is tender.
Transfer the whole skillet to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken thighs get an internal temperature of 165°F.
Remove the skillet from the oven and cover the chicken thighs with garlic butter sauce.
