broccoli
chopped

heavy whipping cream

Instructions
In a medium pot melt the butter. Saute the onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
Add the water, heavy whipping cream, and broccoli florets to the pot. Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes on medium-low or until the broccoli is tender.
Remove from the heat. Add salt, pepper, chili powder, nutmeg, and the sharp cheddar cheese. Stir well until the cheese is melted and incorporated.
Serve hot.
