Add the olive oil or butter into a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until well cooked. Transfer the chicken onto a large plate and keep warm.
In the same pan, whisk together the heavy cream, chicken broth, cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Reduce the heat and cook the sauce for a few minutes or until it starts to thicken.
