Ingredients
1small head green cabbageabout 10 cups of chopped cabbage
6slicesbaconcut into small pieces
1medium yellow onionfinely chopped
¼tspred pepper flakesor smoked paprika
salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
Cook the bacon pieces over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and place it on a plate. Keep the bacon grease!
Cook the onion in the same pan for 5-8 minutes until translucent.
Add in cabbage and cook for 10-15 minutes or until tender.
Stir in the bacon and season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes to taste. Serve warm!
