This creamy Chicken Lazone recipe is a quick and easy dinner option, perfect for busy weeknights. Ready in just 30 minutes, it features pan-seared chicken tenders in a rich garlic Parmesan sauce—all made in one pan!
In a small bowl, mix Italian seasoning, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Season both sides of the chicken tenders generously with the spice mixture.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
Once the butter is melted and the skillet is hot, add the seasoned chicken tenders. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously to combine it with the garlic and butter. Add the Parmesan cheese, along with a pinch of salt and pepper, stirring until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce becomes smooth and thick. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Add the zucchini noodles to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce until they are evenly coated. Cook for 2-3 minutes, just until the noodles are tender but still slightly crunchy.
Return the cooked chicken tenders to the skillet, nestling them into the sauce and noodles. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the chicken through and allow the flavors to meld.
Once everything is well combined and heated through, garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
