– 1 bunch (1lb) fresh asparagus woody ends trimmed – 3 tbsp olive oil or melted butter – 3 garlic cloves minced  – 1/2 tsp salt – 1/4 tsp black pepper – 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

INGREDIENTS

1. – Mix oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

2. – Place trimmed asparagus spears on the baking sheet.

3. – Brush the asparagus with the oil mixture to coat evenly.

4. Bake for 10-15 minutes until vibrant, then remove the baking sheet from the oven.

5. Top with the mozzarella cheese. –Return to the oven and cook for 4 more minutes or until the cheese melts and becomes golden.
