- First, you have to make cauliflower rice. You can prepare your cauliflower rice at home or buy it (fresh or frozen) from the store. Both options work well. If you choose to use a frozen one, it may take a little longer to cook.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and garlic until fragrant.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the meat and cook for a few more minutes, stirring to coat the meat.
- Serve with your preferred side dish. Don’t forget to pour additional sauce on top of the meat!

Can I Make This Korean Beef In An Instant Pot?
Sure. Prepare the marinade just as above.
- Cook the meat into the Instant Pot, and when it starts to brown, add the onion, garlic, and seasonings.
- After six minutes of cooking, stop the heat. Put in the sauce and select Pressure Cook (High).
- Cook for 5 minutes, quick release the pressure, remove the lid, stir, and serve into bowls.
How To Store Keto Korean Beef
- Once the beef is cooked, make sure that it is cooled. Then you can transfer the meat to freezer-safe bags and freeze it for up to 4 months.
- If you want to store in a fridge, keep the leftovers in an airtight container for about 5 days.
When you want to eat it, just put it in the fridge overnight and reheat it in a microwave or a stovetop.

- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or more to taste

- To garnish: sliced green onions and sesame seeds
Instructions
- Place a large skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Add minced garlic and continue cooking for one more minute.
- Combine brown sugar substitute, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the ground beef and cook until browned for about 5 minutes. Stir constantly.
- Serve over cauliflower rice, top with green onions and sesame seeds.

Very good. I made with real brown sugar (per author recommendation) as I did not have the substitute. So it wasn’t “keto friendly”. I would recommend using half the amount of actual sugar, so 1/8 cup. Otherwise followed recipe as is. I made lettuce cups with it and added some shredded carrots and red pepper for toppings.
