  • cream cheese
  • coconut flour
  • jalapeno
  • cheddar cheese
  • salt, pepper

How to Make Grain-Free Savory Jalapeno Cheddar Waffles?

It’s a breeze to make these if you have a non-stick waffle maker. If you don’t make some delicious savory keto pancakes instead!

  1. To make the waffles blend together all the ingredients: eggs, cheddar cheese (cubed or shredded), jalapeno, cream cheese, coconut flour. Add salt and pepper to taste. I love using a blender here because it’s super quick, but you can whisk all the ingredients in a large bowl!
  2. Allow the batter to rest for about 5 minutes and then heat your waffles maker.
  3. Then, pour about 1/3 cup of batter and cook for 4-5 minutes until super crispy.
  4. Repeat with the remaining batter and serve warm!

What Goes With These Keto Waffles?

These savory keto waffles are a fabulous breakfast option. I love to top them with a fried egg, avocado, ham slices, and more cheddar cheese. A side salad is always a good option.

If you’re more into sweet and savory combos, these jalapeno cheddar low carb waffles are delicious enjoyed warm with butter and sugar-free maple syrup. They have the right amount of heat that combines perfectly with the sweetness of the syrup.

Another way to serve is keto breakfast sandwiches because these waffles have a perfect size. You can use this waffles maker or a mini waffles maker to make smaller waffles.

Some of my favorite toppings for these gluten-free keto waffles:

  • Ham, Egg, Avocado and Cheddar Cheese
  • Cream Cheese and Smoked salmon
  • Creamy Gravy (use waffles instead of biscuits)

Last but not least, these waffles are incredible dipped in a bowl of hearty keto chili. It’s such a satisfying low carb meal.
