Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound shrimp tails on or off
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream full fat or low fat
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Srimps – In a medium pan over medium heat, pour olive oil. Add the shrimps and season with salt and pepper. Sear the shrimps for 1-2 minutes on each side or until pink. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  • Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • In the same skillet, add butter. Once the butter has melted, cook the minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Reduce the heat and pour in the wine or broth and rasp any brown pieces. Stir to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  • Pour the cream and stir to mix. Season with salt and pepper to taste and simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add the parmesan cheese, and allow to simmer until the cheese is incorporated and the sauce thickens.
  • Return the shrimp into the pan, generously sprinkle with parsley and stir to combine. If needed, add more salt and pepper.
