One-Skillet Creamy Tuscan Chicken – Easy & Low Carb

How to Make One-Pan Delicious Tuscan Chicken in just 30 Minutes?

You are going to absolutely love the creamy sauce, the garlicky taste, and tangy sundried tomatoes that perfectly pair with the juiciest pan-seared chicken breast.

  1. To make the best Tuscan Chicken we’ll start by searing the chicken in a large pan over medium heat. Cook the meat for about 5 minutes on each side or until it gets a nice brown color.
  2. Remove cooked chicken breast from the pan and add heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Whisk well to combine and simmer for a few minutes.
  3. In the thickened cream sauce add sun-dried tomatoes and fresh spinach. Cook for about one minute or until spinach reduces its volume.
  4. Place the chicken back into the pan and coat with the sauce. Serve immediately on top of pasta (if not low-carb) or with zucchini noodles.

Ingredients


  • pounds skinless boneless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 ½ cups fresh baby spinach chopped
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • To garnish: fresh parsley chopped

Instructions


  • Add the olive oil or butter into a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until well cooked. Transfer the chicken onto a large plate and keep warm.
  • In the same pan, whisk together the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Reduce the heat and cook the sauce for a few minutes or until it starts to thicken.
  • Add the sun-dried tomatoes and chopped spinach. Continue whisking until the spinach begins to wilt.
  • Place chicken back in the pan and cook for one more minute.
