Keto Silk Pie Ingredients

For this silk pie, we divided the ingredients between the three main components: oreo crust, chocolate cream cheese filling, and sugar-free whipped cream.

  • The oreo crust is made with almond flour, cocoa powder, butter, and sweetener. This crust makes the pie extra chocolatey. A coconut flour crust is also amazing for this pie.
  • This filling requires no baking, no egg yolks, and no powders. It’s all made from natural ingredients such as cream cheese, whipping cream, dark chocolate, and a low carb sweetener. I’d eat this chocolate filling on its own. You can do that too!
  • For the homemade sugar-free whipped cream, you’ll need whipping cream, a powdered sweetener of choice and vanilla extract. It’s essential to use powdered sweetener to get a nice and smooth whipped cream.

  1. This pie looks really good. I’m going to make it for the holidays. In the ingredients, the link to Amazon for the erythritol is for confectioners Swerve. Then, for the topping, it’s “powdered erythritol”. So my question is, what is the difference? Or did you mean to link the granular Swerve for the “erythritol” link? Please advise.

    1. Yes, it works with both, the Amazon link is wrong. You need to powder the erythritol for the topping so it can easily dissolve into the whipping cream.

Best keto chocolate pie ever. Had so many compliments during Thanksgiving. Thank you. Definitely making this again and again.

The crust was very nice and would work for many other pies. Had to use a stand mixer for the filling which was very thick, then finally put most of a stick of room temp butter in to get the consistency right. French silk pie traditionally contains quite a bit of butter, that is what gives it the silky texture for which it is named. Cream cheese is not lower in carbs than butter so I think replacing most of the cream cheese with room temp butter would be a better idea and improve the flavor/consistency to be more like french silk. Worked for us!

My filling was also very thick. Thought I did something wrong. Thinned it with additional HWC. I will try your butter tip next time. The taste was delicious, we all love chocolate and this was thumbs up from the family.

Thanks so much for the recipe I made it for Christmas and my dad who is not doing keto love it he still talks about it so I am going to make one for him for Father’s day.

  5. This recipe is so decedent, it will not only have your friends second guessing it’s keto-friendliness, but you’ll be double checking yourself. You can whip this up so quickly. It’s so amazingly rich you’ll find yourself in a heavenly chocolate coma afterward! Can be eaten without the crust and 10x better if you allow it to set overnight. TRUE mousse quality. Even non-Ketos will want the recipe! Don’t miss out!!!
