Creamy keto pumpkin spice Frappuccino with whipped cream and caramel drizzle, served with extra caramel sauce.

If you love Starbucks-style pumpkin drinks but want to make your own at home, this keto pumpkin frappuccino is such an easy one to try. It’s cold, creamy, lightly spiced, and finished with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel.

I’m a huge coffee fan, so making my favorite coffee-shop drinks at home is something I genuinely love. This one is especially good when I’m in the mood for pumpkin spice but it’s still too warm outside for a hot coffee.

And because everything goes straight into the blender, there’s very little work involved. Add my homemade keto caramel sauce on top, and it feels like a proper fall coffee treat.

Reasons You’ll Love This Keto Caramel Frappuccino

  • Ready in 5 minutes: Add everything to the blender, blend, and serve.
  • No added sugar: The recipe uses a keto-friendly sweetener and sugar-free caramel sauce.
  • Full of pumpkin flavor: Real pumpkin purée and pumpkin pie spice give it that classic fall flavor.
  • Easy to customize: Adjust the sweetness, caramel, pumpkin, or consistency to suit your taste.
  • Coffee-shop flavor at home: It’s an easy way to make a creamy pumpkin frappuccino without a trip to the coffee shop.
  • Only 4 grams of net carbs per serving: A great option when you’re looking for a low carb pumpkin coffee drink.

  • Strong Brewed Coffee – Use strongly brewed coffee so the coffee flavor doesn’t disappear once the ice and other ingredients are added. Make sure it is completely chilled before blending. Decaf coffee works just as well if you prefer to skip the caffeine.
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk – Unsweetened almond milk keeps the frappuccino creamy without adding much sweetness or many carbs.
  • Heavy Cream – Heavy cream gives the drink a richer, creamier texture. For a dairy-free version, full-fat coconut cream can be used instead.
  • Sweetener – Use your favorite keto-friendly sweetener. Allulose, monk fruit sweetener, or liquid stevia all work well. Since different sweeteners vary in intensity, taste the frappuccino after blending and adjust if necessary.
  • Pumpkin Purée – Use 100% pure pumpkin purée, not pumpkin pie filling. Pumpkin gives the frappuccino its flavor, color, and creamy texture. If you’re wondering whether pumpkin is keto, you can also read my complete guide to using pumpkin in low carb recipes.
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice – Pumpkin pie spice gives the drink its classic fall flavor. You can also sprinkle a little extra over the whipped cream before serving.
  • Vanilla Extract – A teaspoon of vanilla rounds out the coffee, caramel, and pumpkin flavors.
  • Caramel Sauce – Here’s where the magic happens! Drizzle in some of my special homemade keto caramel, and elevate this drink from tasty to heavenly, adding that irresistible caramel charm.
  • Ice – One cup of ice makes the drink thick, cold, and frosty.

How to Make a Keto Caramel Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino

This recipe couldn’t be much easier, but make sure your coffee is cold before you start. Hot or warm coffee will melt the ice and make the drink thinner.

1. Add Everything to the Blender

Add the chilled coffee, almond milk, heavy cream, pumpkin pie spice, ½ tablespoon sugar-free caramel sauce, ice, vanilla extract, pumpkin purée, and sweetener to a high-powered blender.

2. Blend Until Smooth

Blend on high for about 30 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and frothy.

3. Taste and Adjust

Taste before serving. Add a little more sweetener, pumpkin spice, or caramel if you want a stronger flavor.

4. Add the Toppings

Pour into a glass and top with sugar-free whipped cream.

Drizzle with the remaining ½ tablespoon sugar-free caramel sauce and, if you like, finish with a small pinch of pumpkin pie spice. Serve immediately.

Tips for the Best Keto Pumpkin Frappuccino

Chill the coffee first. This is one of the most important steps. Cold coffee keeps the frappuccino thick instead of melting the ice.

Use strong coffee. Regular-strength coffee can become diluted once blended with ice, almond milk, pumpkin, and cream.

Adjust the ice as needed. Add a little more ice for a thicker frappuccino or slightly less for a thinner drink.

Start with less sweetener. You can always blend in more after tasting.

Keto Frappuccino Variations

While I love ordering at Starbucks, being on a keto low carb diet makes it a little harder since most syrups that they use are loaded with sugar and not keto-friendly. But once you have the basic recipe, there are several easy ways to change the flavor.

  • Extra Caramel: Add a little more sugar-free caramel sauce to the blender or drizzle more over the whipped cream.
  • Peppermint Pumpkin: Add one or two drops of peppermint extract for a cool twist.
  • Nut Butter: Blend in a spoonful of almond butter or peanut butter for a richer, nuttier flavor. Keep in mind that this will change the nutrition information.
  • Extra Pumpkin Spice: Add another pinch of pumpkin pie spice if you like a stronger spiced flavor.
  • Dairy-Free: Replace the heavy cream with full-fat coconut cream and use a dairy-free whipped topping.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Use Hot Coffee?

It’s best not to. Hot coffee melts the ice quickly and can leave the frappuccino watery.

Brew your coffee ahead of time and refrigerate it until completely cold before blending.

Can I Add More Pumpkin?

Yes. If you want a stronger pumpkin flavor, add a little more pumpkin purée.

Just keep in mind that adding additional pumpkin will slightly change the carbs and consistency.

Can I Make It Without Caramel?

Absolutely. Leave out the caramel sauce and you’ll have a simple keto pumpkin spice frappuccino instead.

You may want to slightly adjust the sweetener after blending.
