How to Make Keto Pizza Stuffed Chicken Breast
Pizza stuffed chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dinner that features the flavors of pizza with juicy chicken.
To start, you’ll need to cut a little pocket into the side of the chicken breast that can be stuffed. It sounds complicated, but you can watch the video in the recipe card below to see exactly how to do it.
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian Seasoning.
Fill the pockets with Pepperoni slices, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil leaves. Secure the chicken with a few toothpicks.
Pan sear the breast until it gets a nice brown color. This step is essential for the best flavor, and it also greatly reduces the baking time.
Transfer the chicken breast to a baking dish. Top with more pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni slices.
I love to sprinkle my chicken with fresh basil leaves just before serving.
This is how you make one of our favorite chicken recipes.
Is Pizza Keto Friendly?
Pizza is not keto-friendly because the dough is usually made with wheat flour that has a high carb content. One slice of regular pizza has about 36g carbs per slice which is almost double than the recommended intake on keto.
Luckily, there are plenty of keto pizza options and I shared a few of my favorite recipes on this blog: keto pizza with fathead dough, a chicken crust pizza that’s almost zero carbs, and a Portobello Mushroom Pizza that’s equally delicious. You have to try them!

My husband and I loved this chicken. We are both pepperoni pizza lovers. The only thing I did differently was in the stuffing I added a few of our favorite toppings i.e. green pepper slices, onion slices and sliced mushrooms. Otherwise, I made it as directly. So yummy, this is going into my favorites list!
It’s great that you added your favorite toppings. Sounds delicious and I’m glad you liked it!
