The best part? None of these low carb soup recipes use starch or any wheat to thicken or potatoes!

Whether you want your soup to be simmered in a Dutch oven or quickly in an Instant Pot, you’ll discover that all of these keto soup recipes are adaptable to any cooking method.

What is more comforting than a serving of hot soup? Soup is one of my all-time favorite recipes to prepare, and that’s why I have so many low carb and gluten-free soup recipes on my blog.

Common Ingredients in Keto Soups

  • Vegetables – are a must in any soup you decide to make. Onion, celery, and carrots are generally the first ingredients I add to a soup. Even that onions and carrots are higher carb, I use only a small amount to keep carbs to a minimum.
  • Herbs and Spices  in most of my soup recipes, I use dried herbs and spices, but when it’s summer and my garden is full of fresh herbs, and can’t resist getting some and add in my soup at the end.
  • Meat – Personally, I am a big fan of vegetable soups, but I also love creamy meaty soups.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb mild ground beef
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 cups baby spinach chopped
  • 4 cups cauliflower cut into florets
  • 6 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 4 cups vegetable broth or chicken broth
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Brown sausage, and bacon over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and saute for a few minutes.
  • Add in the cauliflower, broth, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the cauliflower is fork tender.
  • Remove from the heat and add in the heavy cream. Mix the baby spinach.
  • Serve the best keto soup hot!
